Requirements for Field Inspector Position
- National Certificate (NQF 4)
- The Artisan Trade Test successfully completed
- 1 year of relevant experience after the completion of Trade Test
- Driver’s licence with Code B
- A working knowledge of standards and norms in engineering
- Knowledge in Infrastructure Projects Implementation and a an in-depth understanding of the relevant construction specifications and guidelines
- Computer literate (MS Word/ Excell)
- Technical Skills within a construction setting
- Attention to detail
- Organising and planning
- Making decisions
- Negotiation skills Interpersonal skills
- The focus on customer service and the responsiveness of our staff
- Expert with two out of three Western Cape languages of the Western Cape.
- Principles and methods for managing projects
- Management of conflict
- Ability to adapt to changes in the environment
- Compliance with Operational and Legal requirements
- Time Management
