Introduction
The University needs the assistance of experienced and energetic Cleaners. They will be accountable for providing complete cleaning tasks in order to make sure that the surroundings are safe clean, safe, and accessible.
Cleaner Job description
- The job demands physical activity because the Cleaner is accountable for the cleaning of activities both within and outside of structures and other University facilities.
- The most important responsibilities include general cleaning in kitchens, offices and laboratories. They also have to clean ablutions, hallways, and passageways. Removal of refuse; operation smaller equipment, moving furniture, window cleaning, and deep floor maintenance and cleaning.
Minimum requirements
- Grade 8
- A one (1) calendar year worth of work experience in the cleaning industry.
- Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act
- The operation of basic equipment for cleaning
Short-listed candidates could be required to pass a test of their skills
