Who Can Apply for Pathcare Positions
To apply, you’ll need an Enrolled Nurse Certificate or a Phlebotomy Technician qualification. Registration with SANC or HPCSA is Required. A valid Code B manual driver’s license is essential. You also need phlebotomy experience and an understanding of point-of-care instruments such as Hemocue and Stratus.
Pathology experience and basic computer skills, especially in Meditech, are helpful. Fluency in English and understanding Afrikaans are also needed. You should also be willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
