Job Description
Senwes Equipment seeks a dynamic Junior Accounting to assist the Finance Team in collecting, reviewing, analysing and reporting financial data monthly and annually, assuring accurate financial management and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine expenses to check for errors in GL and cost allocating.
- Report variances in budget.
- Corrective journals can be processed as required.
- Manage asset transactions – purchases, disposals and write-offs.
- Consolidate the Fixed Asset Register with the General Ledger.
- Handle departmental financial queries.
- Verify payments made to external vendors.
- Process the month-end journal and clear balance sheet accounts.
- Create SAP financial reports, and distribute them accordingly.
- Requests for external financial data.
- Prepare monthly reconciliations of the balance sheets.
- Handle any ad-hoc requests or inquiries about finances from the management.
Job Requirements
- Completed articles with relevant BCom degree
- Minimum of 1 year relevant accounting experience
- SAP Proficiency
- Caseware is a good example of this.
- Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong analytical, planning and organisational skills with strong computer application.
- Communication and interpersonal skills are excellent.
- Demonstrates accountability and initiative.
- Work well as a member of a team, and maintains integrity at all time.
