Cape Town Municipality Vacancies Requirements
- National Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- ECSA Registration as Professional Engineering Techniologist (PrTechni Eng).
- Certification as a Class 4 Meter worker. Experience in CT/VT Metering for 5-8 years (after first relevant tertiary qualifications).
- South Africa Code B drivers licence.
Key Performance Areas
- In the performance of duties, provide specialized functional assistance in accordance with SANS474: “Code for Practice on Electricity Metering”.
- Understanding and executing SAP processes pertaining to tasks.
- Supervision of employees by assessing risks and completing the required safety documentation.
- Monitor activities, manage staff when management is absent.
- Support the measurement function through faultfinding, commissioning, re-commissioning, and correction installations.
- Support for specific organizational units, such as Measurement Operations or Measurement Automation.
- Administrative functions such as budgeting, reporting and general administrative duties.
