Requirements
MBChB grade (qualification) that permits accreditation with HPCSA as Medical Practitioner. The current registration is with HPCSA as medical Practitioner (2025) (Independent practice). Note: The Medical Officer has to be able to perform shifts. Valid work permits is needed from people who are not South African. An understanding of the medical ethics. Teamwork and management across multiple disciplines and knowledge of the relevant medical field. Experience with the current Health and Public Service regulations and policies. Expertise in consultations, taking notes exam as well as clinical management. Graduation 1: no previous experience required following enrollment with HPCSA as a Medical Practitioner (Independent practice). Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience prior to registration with a recognized Foreign Health Professions and / or the HPCSA as medical Practitioner (Independent practice) for employees who are foreign-qualified. Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Skills Required: Solid understanding of the medical ethics. Teamwork and multidisciplinary management, as well as expertise in the medical field. A solid clinical understanding, proficiency and abilities in all general areas of clinical practice.
Ability to be supervised as a productive team member. Good leadership, communication, interpersonal, and supervision abilities. Ability to supervise patients on their own consistently, with a high degree of diligence, and responsibility, and take action when needed. Experience with current health laws, policies programs, as well as MBChB qualification (qualification) which permits to be registered with HPCSA as Medical Practitioner. Present registration at the HPCSA as medical Practitioner (2025) (Independent Practitioner). Note: The Medical Officer has to be able to perform shifts. Duties

Assume responsibility for the supervision of patients admitted into a level 2/3 facility of the facility. Assist in the formulation and implementation of protocols and guidelines. Participate in training and academic programs. A solid understanding of the clinical aspects to medical practices. Able to manage any medical emergency. Expertise in ethical medical practice. Participate in clinical audits and take part in ongoing professional development. Assist hospital management in ensuring that a high quality of care for patients and ensure that the quality of services is maintained.
