Duties and responsibilities

• Use the current colour-coding system to clean and sanities each area in your accommodation category.
• Use the colour-coding system to determine the cleaning detergents, cleaning equipment and procedures.
• Equipment should be kept clean and in a good hygienic state. Report any faulty equipment to your Housekeeping Manager.
• To maintain safety, ensure compliance with all Occupational Safety and Health policies and procedures and that protective gear is worn.
• Prepare your residences for conferences in advance. This includes cleaning the rooms, making beds, and removing linen from the bed after the conference.
• Attend all meetings of the staff as directed by the Housekeeping Manager.
• Maintain a clean and hygienic environment in rest rooms and storage areas.
• Respect the working hours specified in your job description.
• Weekend work may be required during long weekends or conferences.
• When necessary, work overtime, particularly during conferences.
• HRA may also require you to perform other duties related to housekeeping.

Job Requirements

• The NQF Level 2 grade 10 is the equivalent of a Grade 10.
• Experience relevant to the duties and responsibilities.
• Experience in color-coded cleaning systems of at least two (2) years.
• Certificate for the Color Coding Cleaning System

Salary: The annual remuneration package, including benefits is R113 394.47 per annum.
