Team Leader Position Description

Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa has an exciting job opportunity within our Manufacturing Department. For a Team Lead Production role in Pretoria West, we are seeking a talented individual with relevant experience and skills. The successful candidate will directly report to the Unit manager in Pretoria.

Lead and develop a team of professionals to produce world-class products in accordance with line specific quality benchmarks standards to meet customer needs and business requirements.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage the capture of accurate performance information for shifts/daily.
  • Manage raw material consumption and management.
  • Manage resource load and temps using TEMS
  • Adherence to RACM Standards and Processes
  • Develop team members and develop plans
  • Understanding and applying escalation procedures.
  • Understanding and supporting the SCMAT plan of Line
  • Always maintain role ownership.
  • Plan and support the shift.
  • Work with the warehouse to determine production needs.
  • Assuring that resources are available at all times and maintaining flexibility in response to changes in production.
  • Team goals should be developed and monitored.
  • Work activities are delegated and monitored.
  • Candidates should be assessed.
  • Support and coach the team members.
  • Communication of manufacturing information
  • Manage team relationships
  • Maintain a safe working environment.
  • Support and implement interventions for change.
  • Manage your personal development and performance.
  • Solve the situational problems.

Skills, Experience & Education

  • Qualified artisan qualification (N6) or 3 years relevant technical/production related tertiary qualifications.
  • Three years of technical and leadership experience within a FMCG environment
