Key Performance Areas
- Plan a route for collection and delivery by checking moxes, tasks and any other information.
- Delivers and collects specimens from laboratories in the outlying areas, assisting doctors and clients by ensuring that reports, specimens and other goods are delivered on time and in good conditions to improve customer service.
- Compiles and signs the proof of delivery form for all specimens or reports that are collected or delivered.
- Scan specimens and results to the Courier Management Programme so that all deliveries and collection can be tracked.
- Maintain daily safety and reporting of faults on Lancet assets (such a vehicles, fuel cards, uniforms, etc.) to ensure they remain in a good condition for excellent pickup and delivery services and shuttle service.
- Wears protective clothing (such as gloves, specimen bags, eye specs, etc.) to ensure safety and compliance with the Health and Safety Regulations policy.
- Compiles accident and incident reports and submits them to Management in order to ensure that all damage is repaired and insurance claims are processed timely.
- Cleanliness of Lancet vehicles, reporting spills and hazardous materials to the management.
