Requirements
A NQF Level 3 (Grade 10 Certificate or equivalent). A minimum of one (1) year experience driving. Knowledge of the procedures and knowledge to perform routine administrative functions such as office support and messenger duties. Understanding of vehicle inspection and how to interpret instructions on the proper use of controls. Good people skills. Reading and writing skills. Ability to read and write. Valid driver’s licence (with PDP).
Duties
Perform driver functions. Transport passengers and other items (mail, documents) in a light or medium motor vehicle. Report any defects and perform routine maintenance on the vehicle. Completing all required records and logs with regard to the vehicle or the goods handled. Deliver documentation and other items to the department. Fax and copy documents. Assist with the registrar. Provide a clerical assistant/messenger in the office.
