Cape Town Municipality Asistant Chief Hiring Requirements:-
Requirements
– Relevant Degree/B Tech in Policing or similar field
– Computer literacy in MS Office Applications
– Proficiency in two of the official languages of the Western Cape ( one of which is English)
– Report Writing and presentation skills
– Knowledge of all relevant legislations, regulations and policies
– Valid Driver’s licence ( at least code B)
– No criminal record or illicit activity recorded
– Must qualify to be registered (appointed) as a member of Municipal Police Service, as per Regulation 11 of the South African Police Service Amendment Act, 1995 ( Act. 68 of
1995) or must achieve such within 18 months after appointment
– Registered as Peace Officer
– A minimum of 8 years’ managerial experience in a Policing or similar field.
– Preference will be given to candidates with proven managerial and operational skills in VIP and/or Task Force level.
