Cape Town Municipality Engineering Services Head Hiring Requirements:-
Requirements
– An appropriate tertiary qualification in BEng or BSc (Eng)
– Registration as a Professional Engineer with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA)
– At least seven (7) years’ experience in the design, construction and maintenance of municipal engineering services
– At least three (3) years’ experience in service delivery in informal settlements/areas of informality
– Good knowledge of project management principles, council engineering standards, specifications and contract documentation,
standard Government housing programmes and low-cost housing finance
– A good understanding of the dynamics in informal settlements, which often require unconventional or innovative solutions.
