Cape Town Municipality Equipment Standards Hiring Requirements:-
- BSc (Hons) or BEng in Electrical Engineering.
- Registered as a Professional Engineer with ECSA.
- 10 years’ postgraduate technical and managerial experience with extensive exposure to electrical distribution equipment and electrical distribution infrastructure.
- Extensive knowledge of power system engineering and related disciplines and of the theoretical and practical aspects of electrical distribution equipment and technologies, and of related standards.
- Excellent technical and personnel management skills.
- Proficiency in compiling and managing capital budgets.
- Sound project management skills.
- Sound knowledge of safety legislation and practice.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent report writing ability.
- Financial analysis expertise.
- A high degree of computer literacy.
- Valid Driver’s licence: Code B.
