Chemical Process Operator Learnership Description
- Assist the Plant Operator(s).
- Follow all reasonable instructions given by the Production Team Leader.
- To perform ad hoc duties.
Required outputs for Learnership
- NQF Unit Standard Plant Operation Training
- Fill and empty drums, bags and bulk containers.
- Bulk bags/raw material, bulk liquid chemicals.
- All plant areas should be cleaned regularly.
- Under the supervision of an experienced plant operator, operate your plant.
- Complete all required production and processing documentation
- Once declared competent, you can monitor and manage your plant independently.
- Work safely in heights or confined spaces, as required.
- Maintain medical fitness in order to perform duties at a chemical plant (working in heights and confined spaces).
- Be willing to and capable of undergoing forklift training.
- Ability to work overtime and shifts as required.
Chemical Process Operator Learnership Qualifications
- Minimum Grade 12 Math and Physics with Math is required
- Basic computer skills. (Data entry, basic MS Office).
- The applicant must be aged between 18 and 25.
