Risk Management Internship Purpose
The intern will assist the Risk Management department reach its goals by participating in activities and initiatives.
Key Performance Area
- The intern will help with information gathering and research related to risk management.
- Assist in research, the creation or review of governance frameworks, documents and documents related to anti-fraud, anti-corruption, ethics and risk management.
- Assist the Chief Risk officer (CRO) with reviewing and maintaining governance documents and frameworks for risk management.
- Assist with the implementation and monitoring of the organization’s Ethics Management Programme, including helping to raise awareness about ethics. Assist with the coordination of anti-fraud, corruption, and reports. Monitor fraud prevention plans, and include awareness campaigns and training support.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of quarterly risk management report to the Management Committees, Risk Management Committee and Audit and Risk Committee by the CRO. Participate at Risk Workshops and Meetings. Compile workshop results, take notes, and assist in coordination. Maintain risk-related files and records.
- Schedule risk assessments or audits.
Risk Management Internship Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Internal audit, Risk management, Forensic Accounting or Investigation, or NQF level 6 equivalent.
- No previous experience is required.
