Introduction
The incumbent is responsible for performing daily dispensary management according to the company’s Standard Operation Plans (SOPs). Focus on script administration to perform general dispensing duties, with an emphasis on patient satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Interact professionally with customers and maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with SOPs and agreed deadlines
- Any other claim/capturing procedure related to scripts or administration
- Complete and accurate handling of all profiles
- Consult with healthcare professionals when necessary
- Follow-up on queries and problem solving
Duties
- Interacting with customers by phone or other means about medication and healthcare services
- Accurate capture of prescriptions received by the Central Pharmacy centre
- Answering questions about prescriptions
- Patient Profile management
- Help with chronic authorizations
- Liaison with other departments
- Ad-hoc requirements based on operational requirements
Knowledge
- Product Knowledge (including OTC).
- SAPC and other relevant legal knowledge
- Solid knowledge of the Chronic Authorization Process and Procedures
