Purpose of Role

SPARK High Schools Learning support assistants are responsible for ensuring that students achieve their academic potential by ensuring the effectiveness and culture of the lunch, break and aftercare programmes. The High School Scholar Support assistants are responsible for the classes of students at lunch, during breaks, and in aftercare to ensure academic success, safety, and health.

Requirements

• Grade 12 Certificate
• Part-time study towards a B.Ed. Students who are studying part-time towards a B.Ed.
• Experience with high school age students is preferred
• Clear criminal records
• The provisional SACE is beneficial but not necessary
