Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead the multi-year, multi-workstream program that focuses on enhancing TFG’s QR capabilities and the local capabilities of manufacturing.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other key stakeholders both internal and external to ensure the successful implementation of strategic manufacturing initiatives that span processes, technology, people and products.
  • Set up and manage the programme’s governance structure, scope, schedule and integrated delivery plan.
  • Assist in coordination and oversight of initiatives, such as:
  • Expanding the capabilities of denim labs (e.g. washing, cleaning or finishing equipment).
  • Integrating QR-based principles into more categories and brands.
  • The infrastructure is being scaled up for local manufacturing, specifically in the menswear and value segment.
  • Change management and communication to integrate QR mentalities and methods across TFG.
  • Monitor and report on progress in relation to clearly specified KPIs including benefit realization and the improvement of gross margin.
  • In collaboration with commercial and finance teams to ensure transparency of the drivers of costs, tracking ROI and value added.
  • As a strategic partner to the Director for Strategic Planning and Execution, providing regular updates on risk assessments, strategic planning, and support for decision-making.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A relevant post-secondary degree in Engineering, Business Supply Chain Manufacturing, or a similar field.
  • Formal Program or Formal Programme or Management certificate (e.g. PgMP PRINCE2, PMP, etc.)) preferred.
  • 10+ years’ experience, including:
  • At least five years experience in managing large-scale, cross-functional programs most preferably in apparel, retail, or manufacturing.
  • Expertise in Quick Response regional manufacturing processes, clothing supply chains or production optimization.
  • Experiential or prior exposure to retail operations, strategy or initiatives to improve margins is highly desired.
  • A proven track record in:
  • Stakeholder engagement, change management as well as cross-functional management.
  • Controlling budgets for programmes as well as risks, dependencies and communication.
  • Improving business results through measurement.

  • A thorough understanding of the production process Cost structures, manufacturing processes, as well as QR mechanics.
