Job Requirements

  • The registration with HPCSA is through the South African Nursing Council as Registered Nurse/Midwife or registration with HPCSA as clinical technologist (Independent Practice)
  • A relevant qualification that has the minimum of five years post-basic leadership experience and a proven track record of or people management experience in healthcare (including expertise in renal clinics)
  • An understanding basic of labor laws as well as financial and change management principles
  • The ability to implement and maintain standards for health practices as that are required by accredited bodies as well as the appropriate legislation on health.
  • Computer Proficiency (MS Office) is essential.
  • Driving license and personal transport is required

Key Performance Areas

  • Assist in the growth of the business by ensuring ongoing marketing, communication, as well as the education of the key stakeholders.
  • Make sure that all financial policies and procedures are followed within this unit i.e. the administration of the unit and patients, CAPEX, equipment, budgeting inventory, waste and so on.
  • Make sure that staff members are treated with care and the compliance of the policies of HR and payroll and methods for managing staffing, staffing and other related issues every day in the company
  • Make sure you have a secure and comfortable dialysis environment NRC to perform optimal dialysis each day.
  • Make sure that you adhere to the guidelines and policies, and make sure that NRC’s quality guidelines are utilized to all patients under your supervision.
  • Provide efficient customer service by ensuring active and efficient stakeholder and departmental relationships, and ensuring that you communicate with your departments to ensure the best service delivery standards.
  • Be sure to continue your education, training and professional development for your staff and yourself to ensure the highest quality dialysis services.
  • Make sure that the patient receives optimal care according to the NRC’s policies and procedures as well as best practices for care and high-quality initiatives.
