Key Outputs

• Assist with gathering and documenting requirements from users for K2 business process automation.
• Support the development and maintainence of K2 SmartForms Workflows Views SmartObjects.
• Under guidance, assist in the creation of functional specifications and basic technical documents.
• Support software testing, including logging test results and ensuring compliance with IS Software Change Management Policy.
• Troubleshoot issues related to workflow and provide basic application support.
• Senior team members will guide you in the deployment and updating of K2 solutions.
• Support data analysis tasks and reporting through K2 and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Work with the IS team in managing incidents and service requests.
• Develop your technical and business processes knowledge continuously.
• You may be required to work overtime when necessary.

Competencies (Skills, Knowledge & Attributes) Required

• A National Senior/Matric Certificate plus a 3-year tertiary qualification (in IT, Computer Science, or a similar field) is required.
• Minimum 1 to 2 relevant years of experience in software development, business process automation or similar areas.
• Exposure to, or knowledge of
  • Microsoft.NET C# – (MVC, ASP.NET or Windows Forms).
  • K2 Development (SmartForms Workflows SmartObjects).
  • SharePoint 2013 or later
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2014 or higher
• Understanding of business processes, system testing and design.
• K2 Foundation certification or an equivalent introductory certification would be advantageous.
• Agile development methods are beneficial to know.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills are essential.
• Willingness and ability to grow in an organized environment.
• Ability to work with others, collaborate and contribute to the team’s goals.
• Dependable, proactive, and eager to learn new skills.
